Main silo issues we deal with:
- Bridging that is the phenomenon whereby the upper part of the ensiled material tends to bind, forming a “bridge” above the outlet area of the material itself, compromising or even interrupting its normal extraction flow.
- Rat-Holing that is the phenomenon whereby the emptying of the material occurs only in the center of the silo, leaving behind the surrounding material adhering to the edges and therefore significantly limiting the original storage capacity of the silo over time.
